Silleda and the Camino de Santiago

Silleda is located along the penultimate stage of the famous Camino de Santiago. The passing of the Vía de la Plata route (Camino Mozárabe) route through Silleda marks the culmination of a long journey of religiosity, an encounter with nature and a process of inner spiritual reflection, making it the ideal place to rest at the end of the penultimate stage and to regain strength for the next stage. Pilgrims can get their credential stamp at Silleda Town Hall, a 19th century noble building with a bell tower.
